Student assistant for student recruitment in India
The International Office at Aarhus University is looking for a new Student Assistant to help improve our presence in India (and the South Asia area) to recruit more Indian students for our Master’s degree programmes at the Faculties of Natural and Technical Sciences.
Here are some of the tasks we would like your help with:
Starting date: 1 October 2025 (if possible)
Pay: The position is paid according to state agreements

- Help answer questions from prospective Indian/South Asian students.
- Manage WhatsApp groups for prospective South Asian students.
- Help integrate our Aarhus University WhatsApp Business account in our communication and marketing.
- Help us think of new ways to market Aarhus University in India.
- Develop and maintain marketing and campaign content.
- Help set up webinars and activities for potential Indian students.
- Research and marked insights
- Collaborate with our other international student assistants on recruitment and communication tasks.
- Have knowledge and experience with WhatsApp.
- Speak and write English perfectly.
- Speak and write one or more Indian languages and/or Danish.
- Have a positive attitude towards internationalisation and want to help other Indian students come to Aarhus University and maybe stay here afterwards to work.
- Are creative and ready to share your own ideas.
- Can accept responsibility and enjoy working independently.
- Know how to communicate online.
- Might have worked with video production.
- Might have worked with digital campaigns and content creation
- Might have worked with webediting / UX design.
- Might have worked with Siteimprove.
- Have an analytic mindset.
- Work independently and prioritise your tasks.
- Get experience with teamwork in an international team.
- Improve your ability to keep track of many details.
- Communicate with prospective students from your home country and help them in their decisionmaking process.
- Sharpen your intercultural and communicative skills.
