The Department of Management at Aarhus University, School of Business and Social Sciences, invites candidates to apply for a position as research assistant. The position is a full-time employment of 12-16 months, and the successful candidate is expected to take up the appointment from December 1, 2026 or subject to mutual agreement.
The research assistant will work in the areas of several externally funded research projects (PIER, FoodCost, AUFF Nova) as well as participate in other research activities at the
MAPP Centre. The research assistant will work closely together with Jessica Aschemann-Witzel and Anne Odile Peschel. The position will include collecting data in online surveys, supporting data collection in the VR Retail lab, analysing data, and report and manuscript writing.
Qualification requirements
The qualification requirement for appointment as research assistant is at least a Master's degree, preferably in areas of marketing and consumer behaviour, including academic knowledge of and experience with sustainable agriculture and sustainable consumption and the agri-food sector.
Qualified candidates should have experience with conducting data collection and analysis, in particular experimental designs in consumer research and experience in quantitative statistical analysis.
It is an advantage if the candidate can work independently and in interdisciplinary as well as intercultural teams.
Due to the composition of the position we require fluent spoken and written English.
