Student assistant position: Content Creator & Web Designer

The Center for Hybrid Intelligence is an interdisciplinary team of researchers and practitioners from physics, computer science, human-computer interaction, management, economics, psychology, cognitive science and creativity studies exploring digital interfaces that facilitate collaboration between humans and AI algorithms. We are searching for a creative and skilled communicator in a student assistant position to work on our projects focussed on ‘Hybrid Intelligence in corporate settings. As part of our team, you will play a key role in sharing our activities and research within hybrid intelligence; where humans and AI meet to create ethical and meaningful innovation.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Content creation: Developing engaging content that communicates our projects, results, and events to both academic and broader audiences.
  • Social Media management: Strategically managing our social media channels (primarily LinkedIn and YouTube) from idea generation to publishing and community engagement.
  • Web design & maintenance: Improving and maintaining our websites to ensure they are visually appealing, user-friendly, and updated with relevant content.
  • Ad Hoc: We are a fast-moving team with many exciting projects, so you can expect a dynamic work environment with diverse administrative tasks and opportunities.

Applicants must:

  • Have experience in visual communication and image editing.
  • Are proficient in written Danish and English at a high level.
  • Have skills in web design and an eye for aesthetics and UX.
  • Have an interest in AI and technology and how research is communicated to the public.
  • Work in a structured and independent way, with attention to both detail and the bigger picture.
  • Be fluent in English (the job is in English)

Practical Information

The position has average weekly working hours being approximately 14 hours per week. Your place of work will be the Center of Hybrid Intelligence, Department of Management, Aarhus BSS, H-building 2627, 2nd floor, Fuglesangs Allé 4, 8210 Aarhus V, Denmark. You report to Prof. Jacob Sherson.

Salary and terms as agreed between the Danish Ministry of Taxation and  HK Stat or another relevant organisation.
