Student assistant for student recruitment in Indonesia and Vietnam

The International Office at Aarhus University is looking for a new Student Assistant to help improve our presence in Indonesia and Vietnam (and the South East Asia area) to recruit more Indonesian and Vietnamese students for our Master’s degree programmes at the Faculties of Natural and Technical Sciences and Aarhus BSS.
 
Here are some of the tasks we would like your help with:
  • Help answer questions from prospective Indonesian/South East Asian students
  • Set up and manage WhatsApp groups for prospective students.
  • Help integrate our Aarhus University WhatsApp Business account in our communication and marketing.
  • Help us think of new ways to market Aarhus University in Indonesia.
  • Help set up webinars and activities for potential Indonesian students.
  • Develop and maintain marketing and campaign content (web, video, SoMe)
  • Collaborate with our other international student assistants on recruitment and communication tasks.
  • Help with research and marked insights
As our Student Assistant we expect you to have these qualifications:
  • Have knowledge and experience with WhatsApp and other platforms.
  • Speak and write English perfectly.
  • Speak and write Bahasa or Vietnamese languages and/or Danish.
  • Have a positive attitude towards internationalisation and want to help other Indonesian and Vietnamese students come to Aarhus University and maybe stay here afterwards to work.
  • Are creative and ready to share your own ideas.
  • Can accept responsibility and enjoy working independently.
  • Know how to communicate online.
Additional qualifications:
  • Might have worked with video production.
  • Might have worked with digital campaigns or marketing 
  • Might have worked with Google analytics or Siteimprove.
  • Have an analytic mindset.
As our Student Assistant, you will get the opportunity to:

  • Get experience with teamwork in a great team
  • Improve your ability to keep track of many details
  • Communicate with prospective students from your home country and help them in their decision making proces.
  • Sharpen your intercultural and communicative skills.
Work hours
Approx. 5 hours a week.

Starting date
1 October 2025 (if possible).

Pay
The position is paid according to state agreements.
