Student assistant for student recruitment in Colombia and Mexico

The International Office at Aarhus University is looking for a new Student Assistant to help improve our presence in Colombia and Mexico (and Latin America in general) to recruit more Latin American students for our Master’s degree programmes at the Faculties of Natural and Technical Sciences.

Here are some of the tasks we would like your help with:
  • Help answer questions from prospective Latin American students.
  • Manage WhatsApp groups for prospective Latin American students.
  • Help us think of new ways to market Aarhus University in Latin America.
  • Develop and maintain marketing and campaign content – e.g. blog posts and videos.
  • Help us with webinars and activities for potential Latin American students.
  • Research and marked insights
  • Collaborate with our other international student assistants on recruitment and communication tasks.
As our Student Assistant, we expect you to have these qualifications:
  • Have knowledge and experience with WhatsApp.
  • Speak and write Spanish perfectly
  • Speak and write English very good.
  • Have a positive attitude towards internationalisation and want to help other Latin American students come to Aarhus University and maybe stay here afterwards to work.
  • Are creative and ready to share your own ideas.
  • Can accept responsibility and enjoy working independently.
  • Know how to communicate online.
Additional qualifications:
  • Might have worked with video production.
  • Might have worked with digital campaigns and content creation
  • Might have worked with web editing / UX design.
  • Might have worked with Siteimprove.
  • Have an analytic mindset.
As our Student Assistant, you will get the opportunity to:
  • Work independently and prioritise your tasks.
  • Get experience with teamwork in an international team.
  • Improve your ability to keep track of many details.
  • Communicate with prospective students from your home country and help them in their decisionmaking process.
  • Sharpen your intercultural and communicative skills.

Working hours: Approx. 5 hours a week.

Starting date: 15 September 2025.

Deadline to apply: 1 September.

Pay: The position is paid according to state agreements.

The International Office encourages students with at least one year left of their studies in Denmark to apply for the position. To be eligible for the job, you must be a student at a Danish higher education institution.
