Student assistant - climate and LCA

Environmental Science Department at Aarhus University is looking for a student assistant from July 1st or as soon as possible.

This is a fixed position until the end of 2026.

The employment is from July 1 st 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter until the end of 2026, or  will remain valid for as long as you are enrolled as a student.


Job description

Your tasks will be administrative work within the following area:
  • You will be contributing to and co-developing models on LCA GHG analyses
  • You will be working primarily with researchers in projects.
  • The position will focus on aspects of/elements of LCA and Co2 analysis.
  • You will be involved in 2-3 different projects on these topics.
  • These activities will be in close collaboration with researchers at ENVS and BSS at AU in Aarhus.


Your profile

  • Experience in the use of machine learning and coding.
  • Sounds collaboration skills
  • Good communication and language skills
  • Good inter-personal skills

Formalities and salary range

Salary and terms as agreed between the Danish Ministry of Finance and the Union of Commercial and Clerical Employees in Denmark/State (HK/Stat) for clerical staff, laboratory technicians and IT employees (§ 35) and the joint collective agreement concluded between the Danish Ministry of Finance and the Organisations of Public Employees - Denmark - Danish State Sector (the OAO-S joint collective agreement).
