Student assistant for administrative tasks

The Department of Geoscience, Aarhus University, is seeking a student assistant for the Paleoceanography and Paleoclimate Research Group to help with sample preparation. Tasks include, but are not limited to, sediment core sampling, sieving, weighing, microscope slide preparation, microphotography, and registration of data.

The position is for one year starting 1 October 2025, or as soon as possible thereafter.

We offer 8 hours of work per week. Actual working hours are flexible and can be agreed on a task-specific basis. Interested candidates can apply by submitting their CV and motivation letter (~½ page) before the deadline of 5 September 2025.

Formalities and salary range

Salary and terms as agreed between the Danish Ministry of Taxation and the Union of Commercial and Clerical Employees in Denmark/State (HK/Stat) for clerical staff, laboratory technicians and IT employees and the joint collective agreement concluded between the Danish Ministry of Taxation and the Organisations of Public Employees - Denmark - Danish State Sector (the OAO-S joint collective agreement).
